Cupping is straightforward. Here’s the typical flow:

  • Cups placed for 10–20 minutes Vacuum cups (silicone or glass) placed on specific points.
  • Gentle suction sensation A pulling sensation, never painful. Pressure can be adjusted.
  • Static or gliding Cups can be left in place (static) or moved with oil (gliding cupping).
  • Temporary marks Circular marks may appear and fade in 3–7 days. Normal and expected.
  • Most often combined Cupping is typically part of the Combined Treatment or added to acupuncture.
